How Photoshop Shapes Can Make Things Fun?
Photoshop shapes can be used to make any photo fun. The shapes can be used to turn photos into a wanted poster, to make collages, to make scrapbooks and to add general excitement to a standard photograph. The shapes in Photoshop are basic, but used creatively, they can enhance the presence of a photo. The basic shapes include a rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, polygon, line and custom. For example, you can use this tool to create a shape with a glass style. To make the glass style, the user should first choose the Shape Layers option to create a new layer for the chosen shape. Users can also use Photoshop shapes to create their own shapes collection, which can be used to help create a digital scrapbook, and collage. The Photoshop shapes’ collection offers several pre built shapes.
Users can add their own shapes to the Photoshop shape’s collection by using the fly-out menu, which is located in the Custom Shape Picker. These shapes can be used to add a visual element to a collage. To add visual effects to your collage, you must first open a photo and add a new layer to it. Next choose a foreground color to use for the current shape. Then select a custom shape for the collage. The Fill Pixels option should be used to draw the filled shape on the photo. The shape can be blended into the photo by using the layer blend modes in the Layer palette. The opacity can be reduced to blend the effect even more. With filled shapes and colored text, you can create attractive collages with many dimensions.
Users can also use the pen tool to create their own shapes, such as hearts and stars. Using to points can make a heart shape. Once you create a shape you like, save it for later use. To save the shape, select the Direct Selection tool choose Edit> Define Custom Shape. The thumbnail image will show the created shape; create a name for the shape, and click OK. The new shape will be saved to the Shapes list, and will be available to use at any time. Creating a wanted poster using Photoshop shapes is an easy and fun activity. The first step to creating a wanted poster using Photoshop shapes is to open the photograph you’re going to use. Then, turn the photo into a sepia-toned antique, which is basically a tan-orange color used in the foreground. Next, select the rectangle shape tool, and draw a square that covers the canvas. Change the shape’s layer’s mode to “Overlay,” “Color” or “Hue.” Open the wanted poster template, then drag and drop the photo into the poster. Resize the photo until it fits easily into the upper portion of the template. Once the photograph is done, users can use other shapes to add style to the photo, add a textured background, and lastly add text to the poster.
